Community Assistance Council has a unique opportunity to create an immediate pilot program to create an ERAP funds processing center for the City of KCMO to mitigate evictions and homelessness. Funds must be processed by Sept. 30. Immediate positions available are:

Eligibility Verification Specialist - 10 – 20 hours per week.
The ERAP Eligibility Specialist is responsible for reviewing individuals who have completed an ERAP (Emergency Rental Assistance Program) application and determining eligibility for emergency assistance.
2. Document Specialist - 10 – 20 hours per week.
This person will work directly with potential clients, gathering necessary documents/utility account numbers/landlord contact information.
3. Data Entry Specialist - 10 – 20 hours per week.
This person will input client information and services provided into an online database.
4. Rent Case Manager - 10 – 40 hours per week.
This person will work directly with identified clients and landlords to assist with rent payments. This position will need to have solid excel skills.

A 10-year criminal background check will be required before starting.

Specialists may work all or part of the three-month time period (teachers encouraged).

Work will be at CAC, 10901 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64134 (on the NW corner of the grounds of Ruskin High School).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
●Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) and keyboarding skills
●Ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, volunteers and other agencies
●Must be able to enter and retrieve data using computer systems, systems applications with familiarity with use of data bases
