If you live in South Kansas City, are facing possible eviction or utilities shut-off and need help with rent, electricity, gas or water bills, you are invited to our assistance event. Representatives from Evergy, Spire, City of KCMO, and Community Assistance Council will be available assess and assist if possible. 

Pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee a time and help us schedule.

For assistance, please bring the following items:

✓ Photo ID
✓ Social Security card for all household members
✓ Proof of income for full month of June for all adults over 18 years old
✓ Copies of utility bills (for utility assistance)
✓ Lease agreement and rent due letter (for rent assistance)

 

*There will be snacks, water and supervised kids’ activities outside for parents who need to bring children with them.
