Items that we regularly need include:
• General food for the pantry, including canned, boxed, and frozen foods
• Fresh garden produce
• New or gently used season-appropriate clothing
• Small household items
• Blankets, fans, and space heaters
To make a donation, please come by our office at 10901 Blue Ridge Boulevard 8am-2pm Monday-Friday. To arrange a delivery outside of these hours, contact us at 816-763-3277 or firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be happy to find a time that works for you.
You will receive an in-kind receipt for your donation so that you can deduct your gift from your taxes.
The Hickman Mills School District hosts an annual food drive to benefit CAC, and they know how to do it right! A little creativity combined with a lot of compassion goes a long way towards a successful drive.
